Simeone apologizes for his expulsion in Copa del Rey match
Diego Simeone, coach of Atlético de Madrid, was expelled in the 88th minute of the second round Copa del Rey match against Cacereño for ‘kicking a water bottle’ towards the fourth official and assistant referee number one. Simeone apologized for his behavior, but will still serve at least one match suspension for his expulsion and will not be able to sit on the bench in the next Copa del Rey match.
