Atlético de Madrid takes care of Julián Álvarez before the Salzburg match
Atlético de Madrid had to improvise a training session on Tuesday, January 28th at the Cerro del Espino in Majadahonda due to strong winds in Salzburg that prevented the team’s trip. During the session, the coaching staff took special care of Julián Álvarez, who only participated in half of the session.
It remains to be seen if the Argentine striker will start in the match against Salzburg on Wednesday. The team tested a 4-4-2 formation with Oblak in goal, Llorente on the right back, Le Normand and Lenglet as center backs, and Azpilicueta as left back. Koke and De Paul would be in midfield, with Giuliano as right midfielder and Griezmann and Sorloth up front. If Simeone decides that Julián Álvarez needs rest, Sorloth could start instead.
