Vivas prepares Atlético's starting eleven for Champions League
Nelson Vivas, assistant to Diego Simeone, led the Atlético de Madrid training session at the Cerro del Espino in Majadahonda. The team prepared for the crucial match against RB Salzburg that will close the Champions League group stage.
In defense, Llorente started at right back, with Le Normand and Lenglet as center backs. In midfield, Koke will replace the suspended Barrios. Lino took Gallagher’s place on the left. The starting eleven that Vivas tested was a 4-4-2 with Oblak in goal; Llorente, Le Normand, Lenglet and Azpilicueta in defense; Giuliano, Koke, De Paul and Lino; Griezmann and Julián Alvarez up front.
