Almeida reveals the destination of the Real Madrid shirts he is given
The Mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, visited ‘El Hormiguero’ and spoke about his love for Atlético de Madrid. Almeida, a well-known Atlético fan, revealed that some of the Real Madrid shirts he is given at public events are given to his secretary, while the institutional ones remain in the town hall.
He also spoke about his recent marriage to Teresa Urquijo, a Real Madrid fan, and how he is paving the way for Atlético to be passed down from father to son. In addition, he confessed that he prefers Atlético de Madrid to win their first Champions League before winning an election with the Partido Popular. Finally, he spoke about the noise from the Bernabéu and how the town hall is working to solve the problem of concerts that affect the neighbours.
