Almeida comments on the possibility of Barcelona playing at the Metropolitano
The mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, commented on the possibility of Barcelona playing at the Metropolitano due to contractual problems with Montjuïc. Almeida, a known supporter of Atlético, said he would have no problem if the club were compensated economically. He also commented that he would be happy if Barcelona had to lend the stadium to Espanyol, as the club has not always treated Espanyol with the respect it deserves.
