Atlético de Madrid Juvenil draws in derby against Real Madrid
Atlético de Madrid Juvenil drew 1-1 in the derby against Real Madrid, in a match that did not allow them to close the gap in the standings. Luis Bueno’s team arrived with a five-point deficit and needed to win to get closer to Álvaro Arbeloa’s team.
The white team took the lead in the first play of the match, but Atlético responded shortly after with a goal from Sergio Estebán. The second half left a lower pace and a ‘want but can’t’ in much of the 45 minutes. Arbeloa’s team had better chances, but the score did not move.
