Cacereño stuns Atlético with early goal!
In the second round of the Copa del Rey, C.P. Cacereño surprised Atlético de Madrid at the Príncipe Felipe stadium. Despite Atlético dominating the game and collecting dangerous opportunities, a counterattack led by Chris Martínez ended in a cross that Witsel could not clear and Merencio put Cacereño ahead in the first shot on goal of the team from Segunda RFEF. This goal marks the first conceded by Musso as Atlético de Madrid’s goalkeeper, who had kept a clean sheet in the previous two games against Athletic and Vic.
