Atlético de Madrid to visit La Rosaleda in Copa del Rey
Atlético de Madrid will visit Marbella at La Rosaleda Stadium on January 4th at 21.30 hours in a Copa del Rey match. The Marbella’s usual stadium, Antonio Lorenzo Cuevas, is not in use and the team is playing at the Dama de Noche training fields in Puerto Banús, which are not prepared for an official match against a team of the caliber of Atlético de Madrid.
Atlético de Madrid has not visited La Rosaleda since February 2018, when they won 0-1 there thanks to a goal from Griezmann. However, coach Simeone will not be able to attend the match due to a suspension imposed by the committee for his expulsion against Cacereño.
