Antonio Sánchez to miss match against Atlético at the Metropolitano
RCD Mallorca player Antonio Sánchez has suffered a hamstring injury in his left leg and will be out for the next league match against Atlético de Madrid at the Metropolitano. The midfielder was injured in the match in which Mallorca was defeated by Real Betis 0-1 and, after medical tests, his availability is ‘pending evolution’.
Sánchez will follow a ‘specific treatment’ and could miss between two and three weeks if the injury is a minor tear, which leaves Jagoba Arrasate in a difficult position for his visit to the Metropolitano due to the many absences in the midfield. The Berriatúa coach will not be able to count on Manu Morlanes and Antonio Sánchez due to their respective injuries nor on Omar Mascarell, who was suspended for one match after receiving a red card last Saturday.
