Julián Álvarez has been crowned Atlético de Madrid’s Five Star Player of the month for March, an award that reflects the affection and recognition of the Colchoneros fans.
The Argentinian striker expressed his gratitude for the award, given by Mahou, one of the club’s sponsors, and highlighted the importance of teamwork to achieve success.
‘It’s a nice recognition, but the main thing is always the collective work, and without the help of the whole team this could not be achieved,’ said Álvarez, highlighting the synergy and collaborative spirit that prevails in the Rojiblanco dressing room.
The ‘Spider’ also had words of gratitude for Atlético’s fervent fans, whose unconditional support, both at home and away, he considers fundamental. ‘From the first moment to the last the fans are always everywhere, even when we have lost,’ said the player, underlining the value of this constant encouragement.
