Red and White Assault on the Bernabéu: An Unmatched Fan Base

Atlético de Madrid fans are preparing a spectacular show of support in the upcoming match against Real Madrid. Reminiscent of the epic march of the 2016/17 Champions League semi-finals, thousands of Colchoneros fans will mobilize to accompany their team to the Bernabéu.

On Tuesday, March 4th, the Paseo de la Castellana will once again be dyed red and white. On that occasion, nearly 4,000 fans marched in procession, singing and waving flags, in the last Champions League derby played at the Bernabéu.

For this match, the club has allocated the 3,875 available tickets, but demand exceeded 11,000 requests, demonstrating the unconditional fervor of the fans. The allocation of tickets was done prioritizing the seniority of the members, establishing a cut-off at 15.24 years.

Thousands of fans without tickets are expected to join the march to the Bernabéu. The main concentration will take place in Plaza Castilla from 6:30 PM, although a significant concentration is also expected in Plaza de la Remonta, replicating the atmosphere of the 2013 Copa del Rey final.

This Tuesday, the largest presence of Atlético de Madrid fans at the Bernabéu since the 2012/13 Copa del Rey final is expected. A demonstration of the unwavering support of a fan base that is always there to carry their team to victory.
