Sparta Prague unable to escape slump before facing Atlético Madrid
Sparta Prague was unable to break their poor form and only managed a draw at home against Teplice before facing Atlético Madrid in the Champions League. The team of Lars Frijs has now gone four games without a win and has fallen out of the race for the lead.
Despite taking the lead with Lukas Haraslin’s goal in the 56th minute, Teplice equalized five minutes later thanks to a goal from Jan Knafik. Sparta Prague sits in fourth place in the standings, eleven points behind the leader, Slavia.
