Atlético de Madrid delays trip to Salzburg due to bad weather
Atlético de Madrid has had to delay its flight to Salzburg due to strong gusts of wind affecting Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas airport. Simeone’s team was scheduled to depart at 11:00 am, but weather conditions have forced a change of plans.
Instead of training in the afternoon at the Red Bull Arena Salzburg, the red-and-whites will exercise at 11:30 am on field 1 of the Cerro del Espino, Majadahonda’s sports city. The official press conference of the coach, accompanied by a player from the first team, will be at 8:00 pm on the Austrian team’s field. Atlético de Madrid will fly in the afternoon, at 5:00 pm.
