Sanctions for aggressors at the Metropolitano
The Permanent Commission of the State Commission against Violence, Racism, Xenophobia and Intolerance in Sport has agreed to sanction three individuals with 30,000 euros and ban them from accessing sports facilities for 18 months for attacking two rojiblanco fans in the match between Atlético de Madrid and Slovan Bratislava.
The incident occurred near gate Z of the Metropolitano stadium after the Champions League match. Additionally, it has been proposed to sanction two individuals with 5,000 euros and ban them from accessing sports facilities for 12 months for starting a fight at gate 46 of the stadium.
The Anti-Violence Commission has also proposed sanctioning 26 individuals who threatened and insulted visiting fans and police in the match between Valencia and Real Madrid. These sanctions aim to eradicate violence in sport and protect fans.
