Atlético Madrid, 18 years without winning away at Barcelona
Atlético Madrid has not been able to beat Barcelona in their last 24 visits to the Camp Nou, a streak that dates back to February 5, 2006. Since then, the red and white team has played 18 years and 102 players have played on Barcelona’s field without being able to win.
Despite the most winning period in the history of the club with Diego Simeone at the helm, Atlético has not been able to solve this negative streak. The last time Atlético won at the Camp Nou was in 2006, with two goals from Fernando Torres and one from Maxi Rodríguez.
Since then, the team has accumulated eight draws and 16 defeats, with 52 goals against and only 17 in favor. Barcelona is the only team that Atlético has not been able to beat as a visitor in LaLiga EA Sports, while they have been able to beat the other 30 teams at least once away from home. The negative streak of Atlético is not only a matter of Simeone, but of the whole team, since none of the 102 players who have played with the red and white team on Barcelona’s field have been able to win.
