Pablo Barrios' dream debut with the Spanish national team
Pablo Barrios, a player for Atlético de Madrid, made his debut with the Spanish national team in the match against Switzerland. He entered the field in the 79th minute and played 15 minutes in which he saw Spain draw and then score the winning goal in stoppage time.
Barrios dedicated his debut to his late mother and said it was ‘a day to remember for a lifetime’. The Madrid-born player also spoke about how he feels to have settled at Atlético de Madrid and now to have debuted with the Spanish national team at the age of 21.
