Road to Munich! Atlético in the Champions League
Attention, Rojiblancos fans! The Champions League draw has defined an exciting path for our Atleti, and we’re going all out! We’ll face Real Madrid in a thrilling derby in the round of 16.
The first leg will be on Tuesday the 4th, and the return leg on Wednesday the 12th at the Metropolitano, where our fans will roar to lead the team to victory! If we manage to overcome this first obstacle, we will face the winner of PSV-Arsenal in the quarterfinals, with the advantage of playing the return leg at home, a key factor! The road will not be easy, as our side of the bracket is filled with high-caliber rivals such as PSG and Liverpool.
A hypothetical semi-final would pit us against one of these two giants, with the return leg at their respective stadiums. But we fear no one! With the grit and fighting spirit that characterize Atleti, we are ready to battle in every game! The round of 16 will be played on March 4th and 5th (first leg) and March 11th and 12th (second leg).
The quarterfinals are scheduled for April 8th and 9th (first leg) and April 15th and 16th (second leg), while the semi-finals will be on April 29th and 30th (first leg) and May 6th and 7th (second leg).
