Chasing Champions League Glory! Derby at the Bernabéu
Atleti, let’s give it our all in the Champions League! This Tuesday, March 4th, at 9:00 PM, we face Real Madrid in the first leg of the round of 16 at the Santiago Bernabéu. A fantastic match that promises strong emotions, where our players will leave their hearts on the field.
Clément Turpin will be the referee in charge of the match. We reached this stage after a great performance in the league phase, which allowed us to avoid the elimination play-off and ensure we play the second leg at home, in the Metropolitano.
The support of our fans will be so important in that decisive match! Real Madrid, meanwhile, had to overcome Manchester City in the play-off. We’ve already faced each other in the league this season, with two 1-1 draws.
Julián Alvarez scored at the Bernabéu, and Ángel Correa did the same at our home ground. We have players with goals and determination to compete at the highest level!
