Historic Hat-Trick! Atleti's Youth Academy Conquers MICFootball
What a pride to be an Atleti fan! Our youth academy has made history at MICFootball, proving once again that the future of the Rojiblancos is in the best hands. The U14, U15, and U16 teams were crowned champions, an unprecedented milestone that fills the entire Atlético family with joy.
The U14 team paved the way with a resounding 0-2 victory over FC Andorra, with goals from Kalilou Sangaré and Adrián Díaz-Jiménez. An impeccable tournament with an iron defense, conceding only one goal throughout the championship.
The U15 team continued the party with a 0-1 victory over Real Sociedad thanks to an early goal from Alexandru Grigorii, the young Moldovan promise. Undefeated and champions! To close an unforgettable Sunday, the U16 team conquered the hat-trick in a thrilling final against FC Barcelona.
After an exciting 1-1 draw, with a goal from Alejandro Cabrera, our players showed grit and composure to prevail 1-3 in the penalty shootout. Another undefeated title to add to the showcase! This hat-trick at MICFootball is a clear reflection of the talent, hard work, and passion that are instilled in Atleti’s youth academy.
