Atlético Complete: El Cholo Has Everyone!
Great news for the Red and White fans! Diego Simeone has the entire Atlético de Madrid squad at his disposal for the upcoming match at the Metropolitano against Celta de Vigo.
After a week where different players were absent from training for various reasons, El Cholo will be able to field the starting eleven he deems most appropriate. During the week, Azpilicueta worked at a slower pace as a precaution, and Marcos Llorente was absent for personal reasons.
The training sessions have included activation exercises with dribbling and passing, as well as a fun Tic-Tac-Toe game led by physical trainer Luis Piñedo, all focused on preparing for the crucial match.
Speculation points to a starting eleven consisting of Oblak in goal; a defense with Marcos Llorente, Giménez, Le Normand, and Galán; in midfield, Giuliano, De Paul, Barrios, and Samu Lino; and in attack, the duo Griezmann and Julián Alvarez.
This lineup suggests that Giménez and Le Normand have consolidated themselves in the center of defense, while Lino seems to have won the starting position from Gallagher on the left wing. However, as we all know, Simeone always has aces up his sleeve and could surprise with a tactical change during the match.
