Atlético B Continues to Shine
Atlético de Madrid B continues its great season! Fernando Torres’ team defeated Alcoyano at Cerro del Espino, consolidating their position in the upper zone of the standings. From the start, the rojiblanco reserve team showed their ambition, dominating the match and creating multiple opportunities.
The first goal came thanks to a spectacular header from Omar, who took advantage of a precise cross from Iker Luque from the right wing. Extending the lead before halftime, Rayane pushed the ball into the net after a save by the goalkeeper, demonstrating the team’s persistence and good attacking play.
In the second half, Atlético B maintained control, although the Alcoyano goalkeeper prevented a bigger rout with great saves against shots from Javi Serrano and Iker Luque.
