Le Normand's return to Atlético Madrid
In the second round of the Copa del Rey match between C.P. Cacereño and Atlético Madrid, Diego Simeone decided to substitute Robin Le Normand at halftime. The Spanish player had been out of the field for almost two months due to a head injury suffered in the derby against Real Madrid.
Despite having only completed three training sessions with the team, Le Normand was booked in the 40th minute and saw the 1-0 goal of Cacereño from afar. In his place, Clement Lenglet entered. Although Le Normand is still far from his best level, his return is great news for the future of Atlético Madrid.
