Simeone recovers key players for Alavés clash
Atlético Madrid held a new training session ahead of Saturday’s match against Alavés. Simeone recovers players who have been playing with their national teams, such as Oblak, Gallagher and Sorloth. The coach was able to count on them in training, although the last two worked in the gym.
Gallagher and Sorloth arrive strengthened after playing with their countries. Simeone has been rehearsing with Correa and Griezmann in the attacking line and repeated with them in the rehearsal he made with a team formed by Musso; Azpilicueta, Witsel, Lenglet, Galán; Azpilicueta, Llorente, Koke, Lino; Correa and Griezmann. Marcos Llorente also trained normally and is expected to start against Alavés. The return of Marcos Llorente would be one of the big news in Atlético’s starting lineup.
