Atlético ready to face Bayer in Champions League
Atlético de Madrid coach Diego Simeone has announced his starting eleven to face Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League. The team includes some surprises, such as the inclusion of Giménez in central defense and Llorente in the right interior.
The full team is: Oblak; Molina, Giménez, Lenglet, Galán; Llorente, De Paul, Barrios, Giuliano; Griezmann and Julián Álvarez. The bench will be made up of Musso and Gomis as backup goalkeepers, and Azpilicueta, Le Normand, Witsel, Reinildo, Koke, Lemar, Lino, Gallagher, Riquelme and Correa as field players. Bayer Leverkusen will play with Kovar; Mukiele, Tapsoba, Tah, Hincapié, Grimaldo; Palacios, Xhaka; Frimpong, Wirtz and Tella.
