Galán's hand led to Alavés' first goal
Atlético de Madrid and Deportivo Alavés faced off in the 14th round of the Liga EA Sports at the Metropolitano stadium. Six minutes into the game, a cross from Carlos Vicente into the area was deflected by the hand of Javi Galán, resulting in a penalty for Alavés. Jesús Guridi scored the goal from the penalty spot, putting the Basque team ahead on the scoreboard.
