Atlético Madrid will find out their opponents in the FIFA Club World Cup
Atlético Madrid will participate in the first FIFA Club World Cup, which will be held in the United States from June 15 to July 13, 2025. The group draw will take place on Thursday, December 5, at 19:00 Spanish peninsular time.
There will be eight groups of four clubs, and the top two teams in each group will advance to the round of 16. The venues will be Miami, Seattle, Los Angeles, Orlando, Atlanta, Nashville, Charlotte, Cincinatti, Washington DC, Philadelphia and New Jersey. Among the participants are Atlético Madrid and Real Madrid (Spain), Chelsea and Manchester City (England), Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund (Germany), Inter Milan and Juventus (Italy), Porto and Benfica (Portugal), PSG (France), Salzburg (Austria), Al Hilal (Saudi Arabia), Urawa (Japan), Al Ain (United Arab Emirates), Ulsan (South Korea), Al Ahly (Egypt), Widad Casablanca (Morocco), Esperance (Tunisia), Mamelodi (South Africa), Club León, Rayados and Pachuca (Mexico), Inter Miami and Seattle Sounders (United States), Palmeiras, Fluminense, Flamengo and Botafogo (Brazil), River Plate and Boca Juniors (Argentina) and Auckland City (New Zealand).
