Griezmann Stays! Rojiblanco Legend Until 2027
Great news for the Atlético family! Antoine Griezmann, our all-time top scorer, has renewed his contract with Atlético de Madrid until June 30, 2027. The official announcement has sparked joy among the fans, who see one of their idols extend his stay at the club.
Griezmann, who arrived at the club in the 2014/15 season, has already spent nine seasons defending our colors, divided into two stages. With 197 goals, he far surpasses the mark of the legendary Luis Aragonés (173) and establishes himself as a living legend of the club.
In addition, he is the eighth player with the most official matches (442) and the third foreigner who has defended the Rojiblanca the most times, only behind Oblak and Correa.
The ‘Little Prince’, author of the first goal at the Metropolitano, has won a Spanish Super Cup (2014), a Europa League (2018) - where he scored two goals in the final - and a European Super Cup (2018) as a Colchonero.
