Atlético de Madrid faces Elche in a special match for Miguel San Román
The Copa del Rey match between Atlético de Madrid and Elche CF will be very special for Miguel San Román, goalkeeper of Elche and former Atlético goalkeeper. San Román is the nephew of former Atlético player Miguel ‘Pechuga’ San Román and a product of the Atlético youth academy.
He was champion of the Liga and Copa del Rey juveniles in the 15/16 season and ascended from Tercera to Segunda B with the Atlético reserve team. The goalkeeper was confident that the Martínez Valero will be a madhouse for the match against Atlético. Francisco Rodríguez, historic Elche coach, also valued the duel.
