Atlético de Madrid has responded forcefully to recent information attempting to link the club with the brokerage company of referee Munuera Montero, Talentus Sports Speakers.

This firm statement comes after the conclusion of the RFEF Compliance Committee, which exonerates the Andalusian referee, allowing him to return to arbitrate when the Technical Committee of Referees (CTA) deems it appropriate.
Atlético de Madrid considers that it has been the subject of a coordinated smear campaign against the referee, and has expressed its total rejection of these practices, which it considers detrimental to the image of football.
