Sold out for Marbella-Atlético de Copa
The Copa del Rey fever has taken over the Costa del Sol, with over 10,000 tickets sold for the match between Marbella and Atlético de Madrid to be played on January 4th at 21:30 in La Rosaleda. The demand for tickets has exceeded all expectations, with long waits on the online platform to get a ticket.
Atlético is a team with a lot of pull in all of Andalusia and usually brings many fans from Madrid. Ticket prices are quite affordable, with discounts for Marbella and Málaga season ticket holders.
The Spanish Football Federation authorized the match to be played in La Rosaleda due to the small capacity of the Marbella’s usual venue. La Rosaleda is owned by the three institutions, the City Council, the Diputación and the Junta de Andalucía, and is one of the eleven venues in Spain for the 2030 World Cup.
