Le Normand returns and Simeone bets on Rayane and Niño for the Copa
Atlético de Madrid is not holding back in the Copa del Rey. Simeone brings all available players, including the returned Le Normand, who was out since the derby on September 29. Griezmann is out due to dental surgery. Molina and Lemar remain injured.
Additionally, Simeone brings four players from the B team: Gomis, Javi Serrano, Rayane and Niño. Rayane has scored four goals in the last week and is one of the key players of the B team, as is Niño, who is the top scorer of the reserve team. Serrano and Gomis are regulars in the first team, while Rayane has already been called up for a league match in 2023 and Niño has been called up three times. Both players hope to join the 45 youth players who have debuted with Simeone.
