Lemar: A negotiated farewell?
Thomas Lemar, one of the most appreciated players in the Rojiblanco dressing room, faces a crucial summer in his career at Atlético de Madrid. After seven seasons marked by ups and downs and injuries, his future at the club is once again up in the air.
He arrived at the Metropolitano as a world champion and the most expensive signing in the club’s history, generating great expectations that were not fully met. His participation was key in winning the League title in the 20/21 season, where his potential was glimpsed.
However, injuries, especially a ruptured Achilles tendon that kept him away from the field for almost two seasons, have limited his performance. Atlético already tried to find him an exit in the past winter market to free up salary mass, without success.

The idea is to help Lemar find a team that assumes part of his salary during the first season, with the possibility of a definitive transfer in the following. From the Metropolitano, the best solution will be sought so that Lemar, one of the veterans of the squad, finds a new destination and alleviates the club’s financial burden.
