Fernández assures that there are more than enough indications to think that there has been an opaque and even illegitimate conduct on the part of UEFA. The Union of Fan Clubs has contacted lawyers to decide what type of legal action to take.
Their main objective is for the penalty shootout to be repeated, although they recognize that it is complicated. However, if they manage to prove that there was bad faith and adulteration of the competition, they will demand all kinds of responsibilities against those responsible.
They are willing to go all the way to Switzerland if necessary to defend the interests of Atlético de Madrid and its fans. The Union of Fan Clubs seeks moral reparation and considers that UEFA should have acknowledged an error and apologized publicly. Their determination is total and they will not rest until justice is done.
