Pezzolano faces Atlético de Madrid with pressure of results
Real Valladolid coach Paulo Pezzolano is aware that the club may decide to change coaches at any time, but he goes beyond the next game and defends that results will come.
In his appearance at the press conference prior to the match against Atlético de Madrid, the Uruguayan coach explained what happened in the previous match against Getafe, in which he saw the second yellow card during halftime.
Pezzolano will not be able to direct the match against the Madrid team on the field, as he could not do in the second half against Getafe, in which his team received the two goals that gave the locals the victory.
The blanquivioleta coach admitted that the defeat at the Coliseum was ‘a hard blow’, but they have already turned the page and are now working again, ‘without pressure’. Returning to the path of victory will not be easy against an Atlético de Madrid that scored six goals against Sparta Prague, but Pezzolano expects a tough match, which they must face ‘with courage’.
