Atleti Fine-Tunes Preparations for the Club World Cup
Atlético de Madrid has returned to work at Cerro del Espino with their sights set on the Club World Cup. Diego Simeone is now leading the preparation after being absent in the first session.
El Cholo currently has a limited number of first-team players due to international commitments of up to eleven players, including Oblak, Molina, Giménez, Le Normand, De Paul, G. Simeone, Gallagher, Correa, J. Álvarez, and Sorloth.
Their reintegration is expected shortly before the start of the tournament. In these early training sessions, Simeone has players such as Musso, Azpilicueta, Witsel, Galán, Reinildo, Koke, Barrios, Lemar, Lino, Llorente, Riquelme, and Griezmann.
To complete the squad, the Argentine coach has called upon a large group of youth players, giving young talents the opportunity to showcase their skills. Good news for the Colchoneros fans is the availability of Lenglet and Musso for the Club World Cup. The board is working on the signing of goalkeeper Molvodan to reinforce the goal for this important competition. The Metropolitano dreams of seeing Atleti lift this trophy.
