Atlético de Madrid breaks records for members and season ticket holders
Atlético de Madrid closes the year 2024 as league leaders and with a record number of fans thanks to the 144,372 members they have reached. This number is an unprecedented record in the more than 120 years of the club’s history, thanks to the fans that the team has in all the provinces of Spain and in more than 60 countries.
The number of season ticket holders with assigned seats at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano is 60,874, another unprecedented record. To achieve these figures, the club expanded the number of seats reserved for season tickets this year, thanks to the increase in the capacity of the Riyadh Air Metropolitano stadium, which increased its capacity this summer to 70,692 spectators. Between matches and mass events, such as concerts or international sports events, the number of spectators who passed through the stadium this 2024 reached the gigantic figure of 2.3 million.
