Atlético's Red and White Talent Shines in Spanish U-16 Team
Great news from the Red and White youth academy! The Atlético de Madrid Academy continues to demonstrate its strength, this time with the call-up of five of its young promises for the training sessions of the Spanish U-16 National Team.
Rubén Gómez, Óscar Parejo, Ian Jonatan Mencía, Abdou Kemo, and Luis Navarro have been chosen to represent Spain, a recognition of the excellent work being done in the club’s youth categories.
Rubén Gómez stands out, a left winger with a bright future, who has already had the opportunity to train with Simeone’s first team and play minutes with the Juvenil A, despite his youth. His talent and boldness in one-on-one situations make him one of the jewels of the youth academy.
Luis Navarro, another left winger, will also contribute his quality to the attack, while Abdou Kemo will offer speed and skill on the right wing. In midfield, Ian Mencía, a defensive midfielder with great vision of the game, and Óscar Parejo, a defender, complete the Red and White representation.
This call-up is a reflection of the great moment that the Atlético de Madrid Academy is experiencing.
