Baena in sight: Atleti going all out!
Atlético de Madrid has its sights set on Álex Baena, the talented Villarreal player, as a priority target for next season. At just 23 years old, Baena has sparked the interest of the Rojiblanco club, which has already established contact with both Villarreal and the player himself.
It seems that Baena looks favorably on the possibility of joining the Atleti project and deploying his talent at the Metropolitano. Although the player rejected a tempting offer from Saudi Arabia in the winter market, making it clear that he would only consider joining a top European club, the competition to acquire his services is fierce.
Several Premier League teams have also shown interest, but Atleti seems to be leading the race for his signing.
