Atlético Madrid Talent to Conquer U19 Europe
Great news for the Colchoneros youth academy! Three young promises from Atlético Madrid have been called up by the Spanish U19 national team to prepare for the European Championship in Romania.
Daniel Muñoz, defender, Jano Monserrate, midfielder, and Omar Janneh, forward, have been selected by coach Paco Gallardo to be part of this important preparation phase. All three players have left their mark this season in the Rojiblanco youth team, demonstrating their quality under the direction of Fernando Torres.
Now, they have the opportunity to shine with the national team and fight for a place on the final list of 20 players who will travel to the continental tournament. The training camp will take place in Alfaz del Pi (Alicante) from June 2nd to 9th, where they will play a friendly against the United States. From Atlético Madrid, we wish them every success in this exciting challenge! We are sure they will leave the club’s name at the top, proudly representing the Rojiblancos colors on their way to the championship.
