Atlético: Salary cap rising, ambition intact
Good news for the Red and White fans! Atlético de Madrid has seen its salary cap increased, a boost that reinforces the club’s aspirations. This increase, which comes after the close of the winter market, puts the limit at 314.281 million euros.
This figure reflects the good work of the board in the economic management of the club and the arrival of new sponsors. This increase adds to the one already experienced at the beginning of the 24/25 season, when the limit was set at 310.745 million, and at the close of the 23/24 season, with 303.408 million.
Undoubtedly, a constant progression that allows us to face the future with optimism and ambition. It is true that Atlético is still far from the salary caps of Real Madrid and FC Barcelona. However, the difference with the rest of LaLiga teams is remarkable.
This increase allows the club to be competitive and continue betting on a top-level squad.
