Griezmann leads Atlético de Madrid in the Copa del Rey
Antoine Griezmann, forward for Atlético de Madrid, led his team in the Copa del Rey match against Marbella in Málaga. Griezmann opened the scoring in the first quarter of an hour of the game, after a play that began with an opening for Giuliano Simeone.
This goal was Griezmann’s first in the Copa del Rey this season and the second by an Atlético player to score in all three competitions, after Julián Álvarez. In addition, Griezmann was the captain of Atlético for the first time since his return from FC Barcelona.
