Full house target before Montjuic
Atlético de Madrid aims for a full house of victories before facing Barcelona in Montjuic on December 21. Diego Simeone’s team is third in the league, seven points behind the leader, Barcelona. In the next four games, Atlético will host Alavés and Sevilla, and visit Valladolid and Getafe.
The calendar is favorable to regain momentum, although in other seasons teams from the bottom of the table have complicated things for Atlético. The goal is to get closer to Barcelona and Real Madrid, and not lose sight of Villarreal.
