Amanda Sampedro returns to Atlético de Madrid Femenino as coordinator
Atlético de Madrid Femenino is celebrating the return of one of its greatest legends, Amanda Sampedro. The former player, who retired last summer after 15 seasons with the red and white team, returns to the club as coordinator of the high-performance women’s teams in the Academy.
Sampedro, who won a Copa de la Reina, three Leagues and a Supercopa with Atlético, expressed her enthusiasm for this new professional challenge that will allow her to continue to be linked to the sport and the club of her love. ‘Happy to be home again. ¡Aúpa Atleti!’, the player said in a message on social media.
