Atlético de Madrid joins solidarity in Red Íncola's 'Operation Kilo'
Atlético de Madrid, through its foundation, joins Red Íncola to appeal to the solidarity of fans in a league match. The NGO, formed by eight religious institutions working with people at risk of exclusion in the city, request coffee and milk to cover needs in an action that goes beyond food and can reach 500 people.
The president of Red Íncola is the former footballer Chus Landáburu, former player of Real Valladolid and Atlético de Madrid, who encourages fans of both clubs to participate. Dozens of Íncola volunteers will be located at the doors of the Zorrilla stadium to collect the products that fans wish to donate to the game. Last year, the record was broken with 700 kilos.
