Atlético de Madrid is intensely preparing for its next challenge. Simeone has been testing different tactical variants to make up for the absences in midfield, with Llorente and De Paul working together in the center of the field during one of the training sessions.
Molina would occupy the right side. He rehearsed with Oblak in goal, a defense formed by Molina, Le Normand, Lenglet and Azpilicueta, completed by Lino. In the center of the field, Giuliano, Llorente and De Paul were located.
The forward line would be made up of Griezmann and Julián Álvarez. Giménez trained separately due to a blow. In a separate session, Simeone placed special emphasis on the aim of the attacking players.
De Paul, Barrios, Giuliano, Julián and Griezmann fine-tuned their shot from outside the area, with the aim of increasing the team’s offensive effectiveness. Barrios will not be able to play in Mestalla.

The rest of the team in that essay was made up of Llorente, Gallagher and Lemar in midfield, with Correa and Sorloth in the lead.
Lemar’s presence on this team was notable, considering his limited participation so far this season. The Rojiblanca fans are confident that these training sessions and Simeone’s tactical adjustments will allow the team to arrive in optimal conditions and achieve an important victory.
