Great end to the season for our Atleti! After a great 0-4 victory against Girona in Montilivi, the Rojiblancos consolidate their third position in LaLiga, after a championship in which they became winter champions.
But the joy doesn’t end there, as Jan Oblak has been crowned the winner of the Zamora Trophy, the sixth in his career! An achievement that makes him the goalkeeper with the most Zamoras in history. Congratulations, legend!. But Oblak isn’t satisfied and is aiming for more.
Now, our Slovenian wall is competing for the best save of the season in LaLiga, thanks to his spectacular double intervention against Real Sociedad. A display of reflexes and security under the sticks that deserves all our support!.
And speaking of legends, Diego Pablo Simeone is also nominated as best coach. Although the competition is tough, no one can deny the impact and dedication of our Cholo at the head of the team. His passion and determination are the engine that drives Atleti to give everything in every game.
It is true that some names like Julián Álvarez and Pablo Barrios have not been recognized in the categories of best player and best Under-23 player respectively, but their contribution to the team has been undeniable.
