Anthony Taylor, the referee who officiated Atlético's win in Salzburg
Atlético de Madrid will face RB Salzburg in the last round of the Champions League with Anthony Taylor as the referee. This official has already officiated the team in their only visit to the Red Bull Arena in December 2020, during the pandemic, in which the mattresses achieved an important 0-2 victory with goals from Hermoso and Carrasco.
Since then, Taylor has officiated the red and whites in a match in Rotterdam in which they won 1-3 against Feyenoord. Although not all results have been positive for Atlético with Taylor as the referee, the team’s fans hope that this time luck will be on their side.
