Atleti: A World Champion in Every Line
Atlético de Madrid is preparing for the Club World Cup with a luxury squad, the most decorated in the tournament! We have six world champions, a milestone that positions us as a leading team globally.
The ‘Albiceleste’ has a strong representation in our team, with four champions from Qatar 2022: Julián Álvarez, the goalscoring ‘Spider’, who shone brightly at the World Cup; Rodrigo de Paul, a pillar in the Argentine midfield; Nahuel Molina, owner of the right flank; and Ángel Correa, who also contributed his grain of sand.
Their determination and talent fill us with pride! But the story doesn’t end there. We also have two world champions from Russia 2018 with France: Antoine Griezmann, Atleti’s all-time top scorer and a key figure in the French conquest; and Thomas Lemar, who was also part of that champion team.
