Atlético Madrid aim to stop rivals' efficiency
Atlético Madrid have won nine consecutive games in Copa, LaLiga and Champions League, scoring 27 goals and conceding only six. However, a worrying statistic for Cholo Simeone and his coaching staff is the efficiency of their opponents in recent games.
In the last match against Sevilla, Oblak received three shots on target and all three ended up in the back of the net. Against Alavés, they only shot on target from a penalty scored in the sixth minute, while in the case of Cacereño, they scored a goal from two shots on target.
Of the last nine shots on target they have faced, Atlético have conceded five goals, almost half. A statistic that Simeone and his coaching staff will surely be working to reverse in the upcoming games.
