Atlético de Madrid considers re-signing one of their young talents
Marco Moreno, former Atlético de Madrid player, is currently playing for Portuguese club Farense. The 23-year-old Canarian central defender is having a standout season and Atlético de Madrid has a buy-back option that they could activate.
According to Portuguese newspaper ‘A Bola’, the Madrid club could re-sign the player for next season. Moreno has played 13 games in the Portuguese league and has been one of the most important players on the team.
The defender ended eight years at Atlético and chose Farense to give a new boost to his career, rejecting offers from Cádiz, Sporting de Gijón and Espanyol. Clubs such as Valencia and Sevilla have also closely followed Marco Moreno’s season at the Algarve club.
